As the main protagonist of the Devil May Cry series, he is the second son of the legendary Dark Knight Sparda and the human, Eva. With Vergil being his younger twin brother, they are sons of murdered parents. Holding Demon Emporer Mundus for their deaths, he dedicated his life in pursuit of him. With his sword, Alastor, and guns, Ebony and Ivory, Dante faces demon minions and the last battle with Demon Emperor Mundus. 

As shown with this beautiful statue, a victorious Dante stands on top of the defeated Emperor Mundus.
