Created in extreme conditions, Doomsday is an ultimate force of destruction. Long ago, scientists on Krypton produced the ultimate weapon. With its sole purpose being destructive, he eventually was defeated. Buried on Earth, he awoke after centuries of sleep. Superman stops him, but at the cost of his own life. Driven by instinct, Doomsday resurfaces from time to time to threaten Earth and Superman.
